Last weekend, our CEO took the office on a short escapade to Marlborough Sounds. This was for team bonding, to treat us all to something a bit special, and a great opportunity to get away and do some planning for the future of SuiteFiles!

We often get asked why SuiteFiles sits above SharePoint and what benefit this gives our customers. SharePoint is a tool created by Microsoft for businesses to build products around to best suit their specific needs. By building SuiteFiles on top of SharePoint, we’re able to not only create a document management system but also other features that our users love such as Document Signing, Connect, and many security options!

To use SuiteFiles, there are a few requirements our customers have to meet before they get going! As we sit above Microsoft Office’s product, SharePoint, this is where most of our requirements sit. Alongside this, there are also recommendations we make to ensure you get the best out of SuiteFiles!

Digital Signing and E-Signing are terms often used interchangeably in everyday conversation, but there’s actually a number of differences between the two, which can end up being incredibly important. As a start point, Digital Signatures are encrypted and offer a data trail so they can’t be tampered with, whereas E-signatures create an agreement based on the intention of signing.
