Marlborough Sounds Rundown by Jemmah (Marketing Coordinator @ SuiteFiles)
Last weekend, our CEO took the office on a short escapade to Marlborough Sounds. This was for team bonding, to treat us all to something a bit special, and a great opportunity to get away and do some planning for the future of SuiteFiles!
We often get asked why SuiteFiles sits above SharePoint and what benefit this gives our customers. SharePoint is a tool created by Microsoft for businesses to build products around to best suit their specific needs. By building SuiteFiles on top of SharePoint, we’re able to not only create a document management system but also other features that our users love such as Document Signing, Connect, and many security options!
To use SuiteFiles, there are a few requirements our customers have to meet before they get going! As we sit above Microsoft Office’s product, SharePoint, this is where most of our requirements sit. Alongside this, there are also recommendations we make to ensure you get the best out of SuiteFiles!
When businesses are collaborating effectively, this creates an environment for goals and objectives to be met and knowledge sharing to take place within a team. SuiteFiles helps so many businesses collaborate through various features and integrations.

Working from early until late is easier without facing the forced breaks of the bus or train to and from the office each day. We want to share some tips and tricks we’ve been working on to keep up this important balance:
At this time, as well as staying afloat ourselves, it's important to be doing what we can to help our community of small businesses. Internally, we've been thinking of ways to provide tools and advice to those surviving through.
SuiteFiles has put out a Working Remotely guide, a working from home Facebook Story tip series, and two blogs to offer advice for remote working with team and clients.
We asked a few small business customers for their #1 piece of advice to those struggling through the Covid-19 pandemic. We received some great pieces of advice from JTW Accountants, Withers Tsang, Hopscotch Accounting and Trinity Accountants.
