Better navigation options

By August 27, 2014April 5th, 2024No Comments

We’ve been doing a bit of work lately on improving navigation in SuiteFiles. This is being driven by a number of our customers having extremely large file systems stored in Office 365 and needing to get around the system faster. In particular, we have customers who have a “Clients” folder in SuiteFiles with thousands of sub folders. Scrolling to the bottom of this list takes too much time.

Last week we released an update to search that makes it easy to find a client folder. This week we’ve released another update that allows you to filter the folder view in SuiteFiles.

If you’ve got a large set of sub folders under one folder you can simply press a key on your keyboard and all folders starting with that letter or number will display – think how easy it’ll be now to get to the folders starting with ‘Z’. And note the message telling you about the filter.

When you want to remove the filter all you need to do is click on the parent folder name in the breadcrumb. This will show you all sub folders.
