Last Thursday the Suite team went on a roadie to Callum’s home town, Palmerston North. The purpose of our trip – to catch up with one of our Suite partners, Computercare.
We spent the day doing a number of things, including talking Suite strategy in the car as we drove the two hours to Palmy and the two hours back. It’s amazing how creative you can get without email coming into Outlook all the time.
The main reason for the trip north was to meet members of the ComputerCare team in person and to run a SuiteFiles seminar for their clients. We were able to show ComputerCare some of our new apps, plus to answer technical questions. This was followed by a full demo to prospective clients showing:
- The new SuiteAS Office 365/Xero app (to be released)
- SuiteFiles
- SuiteFiles Outlook
- Integration with the Xero Practice Manager
- SuiteGenerator
A number of attendees were accountants and what we demonstrated was the basis for our updated Accountants Pack that we are releasing next week. Stay tuned for more info!
And as you’d expect after anything like this we had a drink and bite to eat with everyone who attended. A great chance to meet everyone and answer any questions they had.
The icing on the cake really was the icing – on the cupcakes. Renee at Computercare had a wave of inspiration and brought in cupcakes iced in our Suite colours. Great job Renee – that was sweet as!
