Thanks to your feedback, SuiteFiles has gone through some nifty changes. A big one is the global navigation in SuiteFiles. Have a look to see how it has been improved.
Xero is used by hundreds of thousands of businesses world-wide. Today we are pleased to announce the soft launch of our SuiteFiles integration with this popular app.
The team has been hard at work again and made a number of updates to our Outlook add-in. There have been a number of enhancements behind the scenes to make it more efficient.
When we talk to people about backups we often hear the comment 'To be honest, I don't see the need for a backup app.' And that's fair, we get it.
What's been updated?
This update only affects SuiteFiles Web. Previously this feature was only available in SuiteFiles Outlook, but many have asked for this to be introduced into the web browser experience. Now you can navigate to any folder in SuiteFiles Web and select a .msg file to see a preview of its contents. This is how it works:
If you can't see these updates, close SuiteFiles and reopen it. The updates should appear after that.
Download folders as a zip
We know that this feature has been on some of your radars for a while, especially our accountant customers who want to send client folders to contacts outside your organisation. With it users will now be able to download any folder through SuiteFiles Outlook and have it emailed to you as a zip file. From there you can either forward the link on, or download the zip to your computer.
Last week we launched SuiteFiles for Outlook with great excitement. To follow up its release, we thought we'd put out a quick guide about how to get started with our newest app. Read further to find out how you can download, install and set up SuiteFiles for Outlook. Or, if you're more of a visual person, you can view our how-to videos in the Suite Help Centre.
We've been doing a bit of work lately on improving navigation in SuiteFiles. This is being driven by a number of our customers having extremely large file systems stored in Office 365 and needing to get around the system faster. In particular, we have customers who have a "Clients" folder in SuiteFiles with thousands of sub folders. Scrolling to the bottom of this list takes too much time.
Searching for your document in SuiteFiles is important, especially for our customers with large file systems stored in Office 365. As a result we've had a number of queries about making it easier to find a client folder or do a full text search. We listened and released a change last night that should address this for you.
